We first heard about this colab a few months back, a tee with Adidas, Undr-Crwn, and Fruition dropped during Magic, the collection of shoes built by Adidas with Undr-Crwn styling will release in May! I wasn’t sure what to expect from the collection, but after seeing this initial shoe (Via High Snobiety)…I’m pretty excited to see more..The GIL ZERO LOW was worn by Washington Wizards guard Gilbet Arenas last night…

Snake skin patterns have been strong for adidas thru out the past few years, particular on these superstar vintage. As you might know, white and black snake patterns have already dropped before and were sold out instantly, and now, these are another snake pattern in brown which have not been released.

Adidas Top Ten High “St. Patrick’s Day”

With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, several brands will begin to roll out their holiday inspired footwear. Following up on their “Year of the Pig” Top Ten Highs, Adidas recently released their “St. Patrick’s Day” Top Ten High as well. The Adidas Top Ten “St. Patrick’s Day” features a very simple White/Green colorway/layout with a predominantly White upper on a Green sole with Green Laces and a large Green Clover on the side. The “St. Patrick’s Day” Top Tens are available now at select Adidas accounts.

Adidas Cadillac Series BBall High & Low “Brougham”

Originally designed by RUN DMC in the 80s, Adidas recently retroed the classic BBall High from the RUN DMC Cadillac series. These Retro BBall High “El Dorados” feature a premium leather Black/White/Purple upper with a faux Crocodile side panel and a BBall pebbled midsole. The BBall High “El Dorado” is available now at select Adidas accounts in an amount of 1101 pairs worldwide.
In addition to the Adidas Cadillac Series BBall High “El Dorado” Adidas recently released a new BBall Low from their Cadillac Series. Like the “El Dorado” High, the “Brougham” Low features an upper of premium leather and faux Crocodile in the side panel. For those looking for a more classic colorway, the “Brougham” Low substitues the Purple found on the High, with a deep Red. The Adidas BBall “Brougham” Low is available now at select Adidas accounts in an amount of 1391 pairs worldwide.

ADIDAS x FOOTLOCKER x End 2 End

ADIDAS ORIGINALS is launching the End-to-End Project.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS and FOOT LOCKER gathered over the last months some of the best seven graffiti artists in the world SKORE (UK), CAN2/ATOM (GER), SILOETTE (US), RIME (US), SCIEN (FR), SMART (IT)) to work together on a fresh concept – a collection of footwear, clothing and accessories that takes their artwork from the sketchbook to the streets.
The result is the transformation of a rolling masterpiece of graffiti artwork originally applied to a subway carriage, running from end to end, into a graffiti-based streetwear collection.
Over a period of three days, the chosen 7 artists worked day and night, in a custom-built environment, to create the artwork for this distinctive collection. In gathering the artists together under one roof, this approach created a new process in developing graffiti-based product.
Furthermore, ADIDAS ORIGINALS and FOOT LOCKER documented the process allowing the viewer to see this unique project from start to finish – providing a rare insight into the skills of the seven graffiti artists.
The collection launches in March ‘07 with the “All City and the Burner Collections”, made up of signature clothing and footwear designed by each artist, showcasing their own individual talents and styles.
A month later, in mid-April, the “Kings Collection” will hit stores, crowning the project in fine style.

BKRW has been lucky enough to get some previews. Enjoy ! The SCIEN (123KLAN), the SKORE and the SMART (love it), are the our favorites. To be honest the clothing line is so awfull that we decide to not even showing you!

PS : We are always quite sceptical when some big brands are working with graffiti artists. Because there are not so many co-branding wich are really strong and powerfull, usually people from big companies don’t understand the meaning and the differences of every artists. I hope this project will not use the artist only for commercial and marketing add-values reasons. At least, they back up the culture part with the producing of a documentaries about the process of fabrication. It’s a good point ! Brands and artists need to work more deeply together, they need to more than only graphism, they have to re-shape the shoes, change the materials, do some special cut and sew clothing line, I mean a real designer work not only a graphism one!

Adidas Superstar Lux x NBA All Star Game

 

You may or may not remember, but Adidas signed a 11 year contract with the NBA in April of 2006. The deal was Adidas would provide the NBA with uniforms and apparel. For the 2007 NBA All Star Adidas has put together a special package for the East and West coast teams. The two Adidas Superstars above will release in Las Vegas at the Adidas Sport Performance Store. Only 100 of each color way will release, and each will be numbered 1 to 100.

Fafi ” Sleek” Collection for Adidas.

Check out Fafi’s designs for Adidas “Sleek” Collection displayed at Tokyo’s Adidas “Styles” store. Adidas SS 07 “Sleek” collection is now sold worldwide. To celebrate the collection there will be an event at Adidas Original Store in Tokyo on March 3 which is a holiday called “Hinamatsuri” or “Girls Day”. If you are in the neighborhood take your girl out to meet Fafi as she is coming to Tokyo.

Fafi’s book “Love and Fafiness” now available for purchase via Span of Sunset online store.

New Adidas Micropacer

Just in at Overkill is this new pair of Adidas Micropacer. The Micropacer originated in 1984 and was a big step in sneaker design at the time. This new Adidas Micropacer features smooth silver leather and very nice lasering applications.

Adidas Top Ten Hi/Lo Year of the Pig

As we all know, Chinese New Year is just around the corner. This year, it’s the year of the Pig. Several sneakers have been previously released showing respect to the Chinese culture such as the Dunk Low Yea of Pig Edition. As celebrations continue, Adidas has added their own style by releasing the Top Ten High and Top Ten Low featuring a Pig with a tennis ball and raquette.

PICKUP: ADIDAS STAN SMITH “END TO END – SMART ONE” SAMPLE

One of the latest adidas sample, for now, i dont have much infos on this colaboration with Smart One, will update the site when i get any infos.

Regardless, this stan smith sample is exceptional, check out the dripping blood patterns for the 3 stripes, also, for each side, the straps have the words “SMARK ONE IS A BAD BAD BOY” and “SMART ONE ROCKS MY CITY”.

And also check out the soles, its like the superstar 35th goofy. Lastly, check out those graffiti designs on those insoles, just dope!

Adidas Adicolor High “Blue Snake”

Continuing our coverage of Adidas’ recent Adicolor offerings, the Brand with Three Stripes recently released an Adicolor High that is a bit less ostentatious than the Low and first High that we previewed. With an upper of Royal Blue, Adidas utilizes Blue Snakeskin on the Three Stripes and the Toe Cap. To give the Highs a vintage look, these new “Blue Snakes” feature a pre yellowed midsole/sole. The “Blue Snakes” are available now at Adidas Trend Accounts.

ShoeGallery & GTC x Adidas Equipment

ShoeGallery and GTC, a Miami based art crew, got together with Adidas Equipment to create a basketball shoe.

The sneaker is inspired in terms of colors by Miami and features the ShoeGallery logo on the heel. It also comes with interchangeable socks (2X), which also feature the ShoeGallery logos. The sneaker only exists 48 times.

They created 2 New Era caps to go along with the sneaker. One featuring the ShoeGallery logo and one featuring the GTC logo.

adidas Half-Shell’s – City Series

adidas just finished their Gazelle City Series not too long ago, and now the Half-Shells are having a run at it… these Half-Shells seem to have a bit of a different approach then previous City Series works in that there’s a more artistic flair to it with the heel part looking like a painted mural.

According to my source, this sample could very well be dropped, so there is a good chance that this may not be released at all. This is a adidas stan smith model with SMART ONE logo and the tag of END TO END at the tongue.
