Here are shots of a new pair of sneakers rumored to be part of Nike’s upcoming AF1 City Series project. No really further information on the shoes, but check out the glow in the dark croc-skins on these. The sole of the shoe also gives it a bit of a nice on the low flare.

To help Niigita Hiroshi Fujiwara got together with Nike and produced under the HTM label a special set of Air Force 1’s. They created a special black and white version of the sneaker and used premium materials on them. Like most Hiroshi Fujiwara creations, the sneakers stay very classic and concentrate on nice details. They auctioned them off now in Japan and the result was incredible with over 11′000′000 Yen for the set.

Last week, we were the first to give you a peek at the Air Jordan 1 low “West Side” and now we have just received photos of the “South Side” Air Jordan 1 Low. The regional Air Jordan 1 lows supposedly took inspiration from NBA and NCAA teams in their respective regions. Immediately when we saw these, we thought of the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks colors from yesteryear.
The shoes feature red patent leather, a lasered yellow swoosh and and white mesh. In fact, these are the first Air Jordan 1s to have a mesh toe since the Air Jordan 1 KOs from 1985. These will be releasing in late May as well.
Model: Air Jordan 1
Release Date: 05/26/2007
Price: $90

We saw some pics of these floating ’round prior to the trade show season back in Feb. Thanks to Sneaker Freaker we now have a closer, far more detailed look. The graphics on this “Vol. 1” Comic shoe are striking enough. The real trick is the material- a substance called tyvek which looks and feels like paper. Although durable enough to be used in clothing manufacture, I thought this stuff was only suitable for disposable garments. That’s another Whammy for me. Check the tyvek website to find out what makes it so special. “Vol 1″ eh? Like all good comic adventures, this concept might be “to be continued…”. Check SF at the link above for the full story.

Many people have asked since St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, were is the traditional Nike Air Force One St. Patrick’s Day edition? Well look no more (this is based on rumor) this pair will release from Nike but to be honest with you they look more like a custom. Either way, this Nike Air Force One is fascinating, and will definitely stand out from the crowd.
Edit: This pair is not a St. Patrick’s day edition, but they are a womens release called “Pistachio”

Most will never get their hands on the Nike SB x Futura FLOM Dunks which released a few years ago. Designed by graf legend Futura, the FLOM aka. For Love or Money Dunks are probably one of the most sought after and expensive sneakers on the market today. However, Futura Laboratories which is Futura’s label, has created this FLOM towel. So for those who can’t get your hands on the Dunks, maybe you can settle for this. They are available now at places that carry Futura Laboratories.

Speaking of the Hungry Dragons and NB’s plans for the US, Streething brings news of this upcoming US 574 general release.
What you are looking at ARE NOT the New Balance 574 “Hungry Dragon”. These are general release New Balance 574 with similar oiled leather and stitch details to fullfil the US/Japan market.
The main differences between these and the Hong Kong limited release are the colours, the size of the production runs and the lack of special individually numbered tongue tags. On the up side, the NB lettering on the heel tab appears in Chinese charecters. Out mid March, but already @ Leftfoot Singapore.

This summer the Air Jordan 1 is coming back in a big way. Not only are the “Black Toes” making a return for the first time since 1985, but also there are many, many colorways of the Air Jordan 1 high and low coming out. These sneakers we just received pictures of are the Air Jordan 1 Low “West Side.”
When I first saw these, I couldn’t help but think of the resemblance they have to other shoes in the DTRT Package; however, the blue appears more to be more of a carolina blue than a royal blue. Whatever the case, there will be many who will want to scoop these up when they release in May for $90. You can score a pair a few months early and have people asking “Where’d you get those?” by grabbing a pair from our friend NikeFans_Co who graciously supplied us with detailed pics.

Three years before Nike released the first Air Force Ones, the Big East was formed by seven teams to primarily focus on basketball. Teams currently in the Big East account for 40 all time Final Four appearances and 10 National Championships, numbers only surpassed by the Big Ten and Pac-10 respectively. 15 of the Big East’s 16 teams (or 93%) have been to the Final Four, by far the most of any conference.
Nike made the Coast to Coast Package of Nike Air Force 25s for each NBA city across the continent. Now, Nike has made the “Be True” Package, unofficially known as the Big East Package. This package has 16 shoes for the 16 teams of the basketball powerhouse conference. With March Madness just about to begin, now is a good time to get a pair to cheer on your favorite team this month.
